23 (a) Every person who, apart from any requirement as to experience, would be entitled to be registered under section 21 on a standing register shall, on production of the proper evidence that he has been selected for employment in a resident medical and dental capacity as aforesaid, be entitled to be registered on a provisional register
(b) Every person on a provisional register shall be deemed to be registered under section 21 so far as is necessary to enable engaged in employment as aforesaid in a resident medical or dental capacity (as the case may be) but no further.

This contains a list of all registered practitioners doing Housemanship training. Housemanship training being a 2 year period during which newly qualified medical and dental practitioners go through a 6 month 4 rotations of the various disciplines of Medicine. Housemanship training should be done in an Accredited Institution.

Any practitioner who has successfully completed Medical school whether locally
or Foreign, must apply to get unto the provisional register. The person must
fill out a Provisional registration form and submit with the necessary
requirements to the Council secretariat. For Foreign trained practitioners who
are yet to do their house job, they are required to register to take our
