- A medical practitioner must be a man of integrity and good faith.
It is his duty at all times to uphold the dignity and high standard of
his profession and his own dignity and high standing as a member of it
- It shall be the duty of the Disciplinary Committee to hold an inquiry
into any disciplinary case referred to it under this Decree.
- A practitioner owes to his patient complete loyalty and all the resources of his science.
- Whenever an examination or treatment is beyond his capacity he has a duty to summon another practitioner in consultation.

A practitioner who has the necessary ability and under takes to
give a patient medical care and attention whether for an agreed
fee or not or for any other remuneration, creates a contractual
obligation between himself and the patient the breach of which may
render him liable not only for an action before a court of law
but also for disciplinary action.
- Sigh Boards, Door Plates should be of reasonable size and should
not exceed 24”x18". The writing on the Sign Board or Door Plate
shall be his name, qualifications, titles (if any) and the name
of a speciality he is registered by the Council to practice.
Sign Boards with arrows should not exceed two in number

- A practitioner who depreciates the professional knowledge,
skill, services or qualifications of another practitioner
either to his patients or to the public through
conversation, letters or publication commits a
professional offence,
