It is the duty of the Penal Cases Committee to decide whether any disciplinary
cases referred to it under the Decree that is to say any case in which:
- A practitioner has been convicted in Ghana or elsewhere of an offence,
or
- An allegation of infamous conduct in a professional respect is made
against a practitioner, ought to be referred to the Disciplinary Committee.
