- Advise the Council on the aims and objectives of medical education in Ghana.
The objective of the advice is to set the minimum standards of training required
for the qualifying Examinations;
- Determine both primary and specialist qualifications which shall be recognised
by the Council and consider any maters arising therefrom:
- Advise the Council on the appointment of inspectors for Examinations and
Visitors of Medical Schools and Hospitals and make recommendations on the Reports
to the Council;
- iv. Ensure that courses of study and training in medicine or dentistry at any
Medical School or University in Ghana are such as can, sufficiently guarantee
possession of the knowledge and skill needed for the efficient practice of
medicine and dentistr.
