Dr. Francis Adu-Ababio is a consultant in Dental Public Health. He teaches at the University
of Ghana Dental School, korle Bu, where he is currently the Head, Department of Preventive
& Community Dentistry.
Prior to joining the Dental School in May 2000, Francis worked for 15 years as a Dental Surgeon
with the Ministry of Health, Ghana. Between Nov. 2005 and Nov 2007, Dr. Adu-Ababio served as
the 19th President of the Ghana Medical Association (GMA). Married with four Children.
