NOTICE TO ALL REGISTERED MEDICAL AND DENTAL PRACTITIONERS

CONTINUING PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT (CPD) - RECERTIFICATION FOR RETENTION

 The Medical & Dental Council has introduced a programme on Continuing Professional Development (CPD) - Recertification for Retention.  Council after careful consideration of views expressed at a stakeholders’ meeting held on Friday, 2^nd May, 2008 agreed to review the number of credits for the first year of the Pilot Phase (2009).

Practitioners are, therefore, required to attend a total of at least TWO EVENTS (one event each in Categories ‘1’ and ‘2’ spelt out in the flier ) to be recertified for 2009.

This notice cancels the provisions under the item:

 “NUMBER – PILOT PHASE

For: 2009:  20 credits including attendance at only one Law and Ethics programme organized by Council in pilot phase.”
